April 27, 2025: Landowner Assistance Workshop. This workshop will highlight financial assistance, grant opportunities, and resources for private landowners,  small farms, and land stewards to enhance forest and climate health, reduce vegetative fuel loads, and build wildfire resilience. Click below to watch the video.

July 9th, 2022: Updates on the Fort Ross Road shaded fuel break project and ranch road shaded fuel break projects recently funded by Cal Fire and scheduled to begin in the winter 2023, as well as a fantastic Q+A session about prescribed fire:

Sasha Berleman of Fire Forward gives an overview of controlled burns, addresses concerns and answers questions about prescribed fire.
After a quick update from Project Manager Judy Rosales, Forester Matt Greene gives an overview of his approach to the Fort Ross Road fuel reduction project as well as the Cal Fire grant funded shaded fuel breaks proposed for approximately 7 miles of ranch roads, while Cal Fire Battalion Chief Marshall Turbeville provides an overview of this year’s fire season.
